Below is a sample floor plan drawing. This can be used as an outline for a future submission to the Village of Weston. Your sample floor plan should include the following:
- Be drawn to scale
- Windows within 3' of tub or shower and less than 5' above floor must be safety glass
- Egress window must have clear opening of 20" x 24" and not more than 46" above the floor
- Bedrooms must have windows with 8% of floor areas minimum to provide natural light
- Minimum of 3' x 3' area at bottom or stairway
- Minimum of 3' wide hallway
- Electrical panel must not be located in closet or bathroom
