Weston Avenue, Alderson Street, and Summit Avenue

Project to begin the week of June 17

- Construction Update for 9/2/2024

The first layer of asphalt has been paved through the new roundabout at Weston Ave and Alderson St. This will be open to traffic as work along Weston Ave from Alderson St to Birch St proceeds. Weston Ave to the east will still be closed to through traffic.

- Construction Update for 8/23/2024

Concrete work for Alderson St and the Weston Ave intersection is mostly complete. Water main installation along Weston Ave between Alderson St and Birch St is ongoing with about 2/3 of the water main installed this past week. Some communication utilities still need to relocate their facilities before the roundabout work can be completed in the northeast corner of the Weston Ave/Alderson St intersection. This work is expected to occur during the early part of the week of 8/26.

- Construction Update for 7/25/2024

The Weston Ave and Alderson St intersection along with Alderson St from Weston Ave to Summit Ave is built back to gravel grade. Concrete work for the Weston Ave and Alderson St intersection as well as Alderson St is expected to begin early next week.

- Construction Update for 7/18/2024

Utility work on Alderson St from Weston Ave to Summit Ave should be finished. The crews will be working on rebuilding the roadway from Weston Ave to Summit Ave on Alderson St. This will go into the week of July 22. Concrete work for the Weston Ave and Alderson St intersection as well as Alderson St will likely begin the week of July 29.

- Construction Update for 7/11/2024

Watermain and Sanitary Sewer have been installed. Storm sewer is currently ongoing and road building along Alderson St should start mid to late next week.

- Construction Update for 7/5/2024

Watermain and Sanitary Sewer are being installed on Alderson St from Weston Ave to Summit Ave. Water and sewer work will continue into next week.

- Construction Update for 6/27/2024

Temporary water services along Jeffrey Ln have been installed and installation of the water and sanitary sewer main in Alderson St from Weston Ave to Summit Ave is ongoing.

- Construction Update for 6/21/2024

Weston Ave and Alderson St Intersection has been pulverized, and tree clearing at the intersection has been completed.
Week of 6/24 will include sanitary sewer and watermain work with temporary water services being installed on Alderson St.

- Phase 1: Weston Ave and Alderson St Intersection and Alderson St

Estimated Schedule: 6/17/24 thru 8/27/24
Consists of the reconstruction of the Weston Ave and Alderson St intersection along with Alderson St from Weston Ave to Summit Ave. Included with this work is replacement of watermain and sanitary sewer.

- Phase 2: Summit Ave

Estimated Schedule: 8/28/24 thru 11/18/24):
Consists of the repaving of Summit Ave, installation of new watermain and some storm sewer addition.

- Phase 3: Weston Ave (Alderson St to Birch St)

Estimated Schedule: 9/3/24 thru 11/18/24):
Consists of the repaving of Weston Ave, installation of new watermain and construction of a multi-use path on the south side of the road.
