NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

CREATION OF REDEVELOPMENT AREA #3 WITHIN

TAX INCREMENTAL DISTRICT NO. 1, VILLAGE OF WESTON

 

Monday, September 17, 2018 – 4:30 p.m.

Weston Municipal Center – Board Room

5500 Schofield Avenue

Weston, WI 54476

                   

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes Sections 66.1333, the Community Development Authority (CDA) of the Village of Weston will hold a public hearing at 4:30 pm, on Monday, September 17, 2018, at the Weston Municipal Center, 5500 Schofield Avenue, Weston, WI  54476. The purpose of this hearing shall be to assist the CDA in making a determination whether the proposed Redevelopment Area #3 within Tax Incremental District No. 1 is feasible and is in conformity with the general plan of the Village, and in submitting a report concerning this plan to the Village Board. The project area for the Redevelopment Area is generally described as the 106 acre area around Camp Phillips Road, and bounded by Knaack Avenue, E. Jelinek Avenue, Monterey Avenue, Douglas Lane, and E. Everest Avenue as shown on the map below. A complete legal description of the area is included in the Redevelopment Area plan.

All interested parties will be afforded a full opportunity to express their views respecting the proposed plan at this public hearing. Any owner of property included within the boundaries of the redevelopment plan and objecting to such plan shall be required to state his or her objections and reasons therefore, in writing, and file the same with the CDA either prior to, at the time of the public hearing, or within fifteen (15) days thereafter. Such owner must state their mailing address and sign his or her name to these reasons. 


Any Statement of Objections and Reasons should be filed with the Community Development Authority in care of: Jennifer Higgins, Director of Planning & Development, 5500 Schofield Avenue, Weston, WI 54476.


A copy of the Redevelopment Project Plan is available and will be provided upon request at the Village Clerk’s office located at the Weston Municipal Center, 5500 Schofield Avenue, Weston, WI 54476, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The boundary map is included with this notice.
