The 2020 Census is almost here and beginning in Mid-March most households will receive an invitation in the mail to respond online to the 2020 Census questionnaire (you can also respond by phone or mail). Every 10 years, the U.S. Census Bureau undertakes a mammoth task: counting all the people residing in the United States. This count affects the allocation of funding for our community’s’ public resources such as roads, hospitals, and schools.
Responding to the questionnaire is safe. Your personal information is kept confidential by law. Your responses can only be used to produce statistics. They cannot be used for law enforcement purposes or to determine your personal eligibility for government benefits.
