Due to the pandemic last year and continuing into this year, the Village made the decision to cancel the Village wide Rummage Sale. That bummed some of you out, so our Technology Services staff went to work on creating an application to assist residents hosting a sale and help shoppers find the items they are looking for!
Phase one of the application has been created and is ready for those hosting a sale to use. Simply visit www.westonwi.gov/rummagesaleapp and fill out the form with the needed details. You will be providing your location information, sale dates and times, items being sold, and you can even attach up to 10 photos of your items!
Once you submit your form, staff will be working on creating a mapping application that will highlight all the sales in the Village throughout 2021. YAY! Shoppers will be able use the map to click on sale locations and see what items are for sale and pictures included. Stay tuned as staff releases more updates.
