Start Date of Monday August 2nd, 2021
The Village of Weston has contracted with Fahrner Asphalt Sealers Inc. to perform Bridge Rehabilitation work to the Eau Claire River Bridge, located on Ross Ave. approximately 600 feet south of Sandy Lane in the Village of Weston.
The Bridge Rehabilitation work will consist of full-length removal and replacement of the deteriorated concrete on the east edge of the bridge deck. Partial depth concrete deck repair and the application of epoxy / aggregate overlay on the areas affected by the partial depth deck repair.
The weather dependent work will start on Monday August 2, 2021 and is anticipated to take a minimum of 3 weeks during which time the Eau Claire River Bridge will be restricted to one lane traffic only. Portable signal lights will be installed at each end of the work zone to regulate the flow of traffic through the single lane bridge. The public should anticipate delays as the portable temporary signal lights operate via a timer and are not traffic volume sensitive.
NOTE - There will be no marked detour for this Ross Ave Bridge Rehabilitation project.
