201115 Hearing Notice REZN TOWN


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Town of Weston Plan Commission, on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at approximately, 5:15 p.m., at the Weston/Schofield Municipal Court Room, 5209 Mesker Street, Weston, WI 54476, to take testimony relative to the following:


Project #20220317 Tim Vreeland, 6103 Dawn St, Weston WI 54476, on behalf of Dave Jensen, 228357 Poplar Ln, Wausau WI 54403, requesting a rezone from RR-2 (Rural Residential 2 Acre) Zoning District to RR-5 (Rural Residential 5 Acre) Zoning District, to allow him to reconfigure two existing parcels known as 228503 Poplar Lane and 228506 Camp Phillips Road, resulting in approximately 5.1 acres of land serving the residence at 228503 Poplar Lane and the remaining approximately 5.2 acres serving as vacant land. The land to be rezoned is described as:

Commencing at the E ¼ Corner of Section 5; Thence N 2o33’34” W along the E Line of the NE ¼ 326.73 feet; Thence S 89o05’45” W 127.04 feet to the W line of Camp Phillips Rd and to the POB; Thence S 89o06’56” W 543.90 feet; Thence N 2o18’35” W along the E line of Lot 1 of CSM #16761 452.05 feet; Thence S 89o07’06” W along the N line of said Lot 1 634.66 feet to the E line of Poplar Lane; Thence N 2o07’46” W along the E line of Poplar Lane 199.90 feet; Thence N 89o08’35” E along the N line of Lot 1 of CSM #6587 638.66 feet; Thence N 88o56’123” E 471.37 feet to the W line of Camp Phillips Rd; Thence S 4o22’15” E along the W line of Camp Phillips Rd 316.39 feet; Thence S 11o46’39” E along the W line of Camp Phillips Rd 343.44 feet to the POB; Section 5, Township 28 N; Range 8 E, Town of Weston, Marathon County, Wisconsin.


The hearing notice with application materials are available for public inspection on the Village of Weston website located at on behalf of the Town of Weston.


Written testimony must be submitted to the Town Zoning Administrator, Jennifer Higgins, 5500 Schofield Avenue, Weston, WI  54476, or emailed to, by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, to be included in the Plan Commission Meeting Packet.  All interested persons attending the Public Hearing will be given an opportunity to be heard.  Any person with questions or planning to attend needing special accommodations in order to participate should call Milton Olson, Town Chair, at 715-842-5397.
