
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
VILLAGE OF WESTON PLAN COMMISSION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Village of Weston Plan Commission, on Monday, February 13, 2023, at approximately, 6:00 p.m., or shortly thereafter, at the Weston Municipal Center, Board Room, 4747 Camp Phillips Road, Weston, WI 54476 to hear a request by Village Staff to amend the Village of Weston Official Zoning Map to address a zoning map oversight associated with the zoning text amendment approved in Ordinance 21-011, which repealed certain overlay zoning districts and created a PD Planned Development district. The zoning map amendments that are the subject of the public hearing are as follows:
- B-2 Highway Commercial with D-WM – Weston Marketplace Overlay to PD Planned Development - Lot 1 of Certified Survey Map # 11806, Vol 50 Page 94, Document #1234452; Being Part of the East Half (E ½) of the Southwest Quarter (SW ¼), of Section 17, T28N, R8E, Village of Weston, Marathon County, Wisconsin (PIN 192-2808-174-0894). Also known as 3806, 3910, 4002 & 4020 Schofield Avenue.
- INT Institutional with D-R – Renaissance Overlay to PD Planned Development – Lot 1 of Certified Survey Map #16716, Vol 78 Page 65, Document #1663046; Valdres Springs Lots 1,2,3 and 4, including part of Lot 10 and part of the Vacation of Valdres Springs Court, of Section 21, T28N, R8E, Village of Weston, Marathon County, Wisconsin (PIN 192-2808-212-0180). Also known as 4602 Barbican Avenue.
- INT Institutional with D-R – Renaissance Overlay to PD Planned Development - Lot 2 of Certified Survey Map #16716, Vol 78 Page 65, Document #1663046; Valdres Springs Lots Part of Lot 5, all of Lots 6 through 14 including part of Lot 46 and all of Lots 40 through 45 of the Ridge View Subdivision, including part of the Vacated Valdres Springs Court, of Section 21, T28N, R8E, Village of Weston, Marathon County, Wisconsin (PIN 192-2808-212-0180). Also known as 4810 Barbican Avenue.
No change in land use is anticipated as a result of these zoning map amendments. The hearing notice with application materials are available for public inspection on the Village of Weston website located at http://westonwi.gov/421/Public-Hearing-Notices.
Written testimony submitted by noon on the date of the hearing to the Village of Weston Plan Commission, Valerie Parker, Plan Commission Secretary, 4747 Camp Phillips Road, Weston, WI 54476, or emailed to vparker@westonwi.gov, will be brought to the hearing and entered into the hearing record.
All interested persons wishing to provide oral or written testimony during the Public Hearing will be given an opportunity to be heard.
