The Village of Weston is currently in the process of updating our Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP) and developing Master Plans for Kennedy Park and Prohaska Family Memorial Park.
The CORP is a document that is used to guide the village in making decisions related to improvements at existing parks, new facilities, land acquisition, recreation trail extensions and improvements and ADA requirements through 2027 and beyond. This document must be updated every 5 years and is also an eligibility requirement for any local unit of government seeking grant funds through the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and Federal Government.
The Community Survey is meant to be completed by residents and the User Group Survey should be completed by organizations that use Village of Weston Parks, such as DC Everest Youth Baseball, DC Everest School District, Youth Soccer, Rugby, Wausau Area Home Educators, Wolfpack Lacrosse and various other organizations.
Please help us plan for the future of Weston's Parks by taking one or both of the surveys.
