NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a hearing will be held before the Village Board of the Village of Weston at the Weston Municipal Center, 4747 Camp Phillips Road, Weston, Wisconsin 54476, on the on the 18th day of December, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. on said date to consider the passage of a Resolution pursuant to the provisions of Sec. 66.1003(4), Wis. Stats., for the vacation of a portion of DOMINIKA STREET located in the Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 22, Township 28 North, Range 8 East, Village of Weston, Marathon County, Wisconsin, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 6 of Wandering Springs West Addition and the beginning of a non-tangential curve to the right on the East right-of-way line of Dominika Street; Thence 141.03 feet along the arc of said curve, said curve having a radius of 284.66 feet, a central angle of 28°23'09" and a chord that bears South 14°31 '36" East for a distance of 139.59 feet to the monumented South line of said Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4; Thence South 89°39'59" West along said monumented South line, 16.00 feet to the beginning of a non-tangential curve to the left; Thence 137.15 feet along the arc of said curve, said curve having a radius of 268.66 feet, a central angle of 29°14'56" and a chord that bears North 14°57'30" West for a distance of 135.66 feet to the beginning of a non-tangential curve to the right; Thence 16.53 feet along the arc of said curve, said curve having a radius of 350.00 feet, a central angle of 02°42'24" and a chord that bears North 75°26'47" East for a distance of 16.53 feet to the point of beginning. That the above-described parcel of land contains 2,226 square feet or 0.051 acres, more or less. That said parcel is subject to all easements, restrictions and rights-of-way of record.
Written comments on the proposed updated document should be submitted to the Weston Municipal Center (attention Jennifer Higgins), by noon on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, to be included in the meeting packet. All written comments will be forwarded to the Board for their consideration. All interested persons wishing to provide testimony during the Public Hearings will be given an opportunity to be heard.
