Christmas Tree Collection

Waste Management will be collecting properly set out Christmas Trees in January.

Waste Management has scheduled four collection dates to occur, which will be “route” based.

  • If your garbage is typically collected on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, Waste Management will collect trees set out on January 15th and January 29th.
  • If your garbage is typically collected on Wednesdays and Thursdays, Waste Management will collect trees set out on January 16th and January 30th.

See the collection route map, which illustrates when the collections will occur.

In order to have your tree picked up, it needs to be cut in half, and no longer than 4 feet in length. Trees need to be set out by 6:00 a.m., or the night before, the day of collection. If Waste Management falls behind in an area, they will come back out the following day to finish collections.

If your tree did not get picked up on the dates noted above, please contact Valerie Parker, at 715-241-2607, or email vparker@westonwi.gov, right away.

If you do not want to wait to have your tree collected, you can deliver it to Marathon County Solid Waste Department (i.e. Ringle Landfill), 172900 State Highway 29, Ringle, however, they do charge a $10.00 fee.

Outdoor Ice Rinks at Kennedy Park

The Village will have an open rink and hockey rink at Kennedy Park for the 2024-2025 season as soon as the weather allows. Staff will begin preparing the rinks once we receive approximately six to eight inches of snow and cold weather so we can build a base and let that freeze. Once that is completed, we can begin flooding the base and then it usually takes us three to four days if the weather is cold enough to have a skateable surface. Please watch our Facebook page for the most up to date information regarding the rinks this winter.

Pet License

The Village of Weston is accepting pet licensing applications. Applications can be found on our website at https://westonwi.gov/409/Pet-License and mailed to the Village or dropped off at the Municipal Center.

If paying with property taxes, please pay with a separate check.
