Spring has arrived, and with it comes more people out enjoying walks with their dogs. Just a friendly reminder to all dog owners to clean up after their pets! Additionally, please remember to keep your pets leashed per Municipal Code 10.126: Animals Not to Run At Large.

Updates for current roadway projects:

Schofield Ave (Normandy St to Birch St):
- Week of 4/21: Lane closures will be put in place with traffic shifted to one lane in each direction within the eastbound lanes of Schofield Ave at Normandy St heading east. Contractor will begin removing the concrete pavement.
- Week of 4/28: The contractor will continue with pavement removals. Some water and sewer utility work may begin.

Weston Ave (CR-X to Ryan St):
- Week of 4/21: Sanitary sewer installation starting at Von Kanel St heading east towards Heeren St is expected to continue. There may also be some tree clearing and other erosion control measures being setup at this time. There is a possibility that work on the storm pond at the southwest corner of Von Kanel and Weston Ave will begin as well.
- Week of 4/28: Sanitary sewer installation will continue heading east. A second pipe crew could start during this week to begin working on watermain installation as well as storm sewer. The second crew will depend on how quickly the first crew gets through this area. During this week Heeren St and Ryan St should still be the primary access points for the corridor.
