October 6-10, 2025 is National Voter Education Week


During this week, we’re focusing on empowering and building confidence in our voters as they prepare to cast their ballots for the 2026 Election Year.   Stay informed, know your ballot, and make your voice count!

Register to Vote 

•    Online during open registration (20 days or more before an election) at myvote.wi.gov. Must have a current and valid Wisconsin Driver's License or Wisconsin State ID card.

•    By mail during open registration (20 days or more before an election).

•    In the clerk’s office, up until the Friday before the election by 5:00 p.m.

•    Your voting location on Election Day

Establish a goal to familiarize yourself with your ballot. Being an informed and intentional voter involves more than casting a vote, it means understanding the choices you’re making

•    Review sample ballots which can be found at myvote.wi.gov or at the municipal clerk’s office

•    Use nonpartisan, trusted sources to gather candidate information

•    Check out your local newspaper for candidate interviews

Make a plan to vote 

•    Voters have the option to vote absentee, in-person absentee, or at the polls

Understand the process

The Village of Weston is creating a Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan and wants your input. Share your ideas and learn more by visiting www.westonwi.gov/BikePedPlan. You’ll find a short community survey and an interactive map where you can suggest improvements for sidewalks, trails, bikeways, and improving opportunities for walking, biking, and rolling in Weston.

The survey and map will be open until Friday, October 17th.

Fall Yard Material Pick-Up Map

The 2025 Fall Yard Pickup is scheduled for the months of October and November, 2025. 

Materials MUST be out to the roadside by 7 AM on the scheduled day of pickup. Please click on the map above to see what dates pickup will occur in your neighborhood.

Public Works Report

Updates for current roadway projects:


Schofield Ave (Normandy St to Birch St):
- Week of 10/6: Continue working on street grading, traffic signals and concrete work along the eastbound lanes.  Potentially starting to pave asphalt late in the week.

-Week of 10/13: Continue with concrete work and asphalt paving of eastbound lanes.

Weston Ave (CR-X to Ryan St):
- Week of 10/6
: Ryan St at Weston Ave will be closed to through traffic (north/south) starting Tuesday 10/7 thru Friday 10/10 and then opened up by the weekend to get the intersection built.  Traffic will still be able to move east/west through the intersection.  Watermain and sanitary sewer installation will continue west of Ryan St towards Lindenwood Ct.

- Week of 10/13: Concrete work from the ATC Powerlines heading east is anticipated to be poured.  Roadway grading will follow concrete work with paving anticipated the following week (10/20).  Water and sewer installation will continue between Ryan St and Lindenwood Ct.

 Fuller St:
- Week of 10/6: North of Thomas Ave asphalt paving is planned early in the week.  Then between Schofield Ave and Meridian, paving of the multi-use path on the east side of the road and then restoration behind the curb.  From Meridian north, pipe work will be finished up and the road will be built through that stretch.  Storm sewer installation along Rogan Ln from the park to Fuller St is planned to begin.

- Week of 10/13: Concrete curb between Thomas and Meridian to be poured, storm sewer installation on Rogan Ln to continue and restoration on the south side to continue.  Fuller St just north of Schofield Ave will likely be closed for several days this week for new concrete pavement to be poured.

Hospital Area Paving: 
-Week of 10/6: Cranberry Blvd is planned to be closed for road pulverization and concrete curb repairs.

-Week of 10/13: Finish work on Cranberry Blvd, begin roadwork on Ministry.

Asphalt Overlay Projects: Paving of the below areas are planned to be worked on 10/6 to 10/8.

  • Post Ave (West of BUS 51)
  • Cortez, Coronado and Lawndale (North of Jelinek)
  • Terrier and Birchwood Ln (South of Jelinek)
  • Alex St (West of Sandy Ln)
  • Michael Dr
  • Cheryl Dr
  • Jacob St
  • Twin Pines Ln
  • Morning View (East of Twin Pines)
  • Babl Ln (East of Twin Pines)
  • Saxon Ave
  • Regent St
  • Meridian St
