Street and Utility Projects for 2026


The Village of Weston has a Capital Improvement Plan which includes facilities, streets and utility projects as well as major equipment purchases. The 2026 projects include the following:

 Street Projects:

  • Bloedel Ave: will be reconstructed with new water main and sanitary sewer along with storm water improvements and street reconstruction.
  • Concord Ave and Bayberry St: will be reconstructed with storm water improvements some minor sanitary sewer and water main repairs and complete street reconstruction to better serve the heavy truck traffic in the area.   
  • Jelinek Ave and Alderson St Intersection: is planned to be reconstructed as a mini roundabout similar to what now exists at the Weston Ave and Alderson St intersection.   
  •  Major Maintenance Projects will include concrete pavement repairs on Schofield Ave east of Mesker St as well as about three miles of asphalt overlay’s on streets.

 Utility Projects:

 Iron, Manganese and PFAS Treatment

  • The Village has put Well 4 back online and is pumping PFAS free water as of fall of 2025.  
  • In 2026, iron and manganese removal for Well 3 prior to PFAS treatment will be constructed at the Water Treatment Plant. The Village is working through a Safe Drinking Water Loan from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources for this project in which 50% of the costs are expected to receive principal forgiveness.

The next Information Session with presentation will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with Informational Presentation at 6:00 p.m. The session will be recorded and posted shortly after the session. Banners

The Patriot Avenue of Honor is coming to Weston! All area protective service personnel are invited to be recognized alongside other veterans in the community. The banners will be displayed on Schofield Ave, and are currently $395 until March 28, 2026. For more information, click HERE!

Vaccine Clinic

Residents of the Village of Weston, Village of Rothschild, City of Schofield, and Town of Weston who are interested in receiving a free rabies vaccine for their pet can attend this Free Rabies Vaccine Clinic. A 2026 pet license is required in order to be vaccinated which can also be completed at the Clinic. Come early as there are a limited number of vaccines available!

Residents who participate in the TVNR Program may arrive between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
