• Electronics Recycling Event (https://westonwi.gov/916/October-2-2024-Electronics-Recycling-Eve)

The Village of Weston is working with RecycleThatStuff.com in holding a public electronics recycling event, on Wednesday, October 2nd, from 3:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., behind the Weston Municipal Center, 4747 Camp Phillips Road.

The general public can bring all their unwanted electronics for proper disposal. A lot of smaller items are accepted free of charge, while some larger items do come with a small fee.

• Village & Town of Weston Fall Bulk-Item Drop-Off Event (https://westonwi.gov/917/October-3---5-2024-Fall-Bulk-Item-Drop-O)

The Fall Bulk-Item Drop-Off Event will be held at Waste Management, 5509 Fuller Street on the following dates and times:

• Thursday, October 3rd, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Friday, October 4th, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Saturday, October 5th, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m

During this event, eligible residents can dispose of (for free) materials such as non-metal items, furniture, carpeting, scrap lumber, mattresses, and glass windows.

During this event ONLY properties that pay into the annual refuse and recycling service fee on their property tax bill are eligible for this service. If you are unsure if your property qualifies, please email Valerie Parker at vparker@westonwi.gov, or call 715-241-2607.

• Weston Community Shred Day (https://westonwi.gov/915/October-16-2024-Community-Paper-Shred-Da)

The Village of Weston is working with IROW Shredding Services in holding a FREE public paper shredding/destruction event, on Wednesday, October 16th, from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., behind the Weston Municipal Center, 4747 Camp Phillips Road. The general public can bring up to 5 boxes (or up to 100 pounds) of unwanted paperwork to this event, to be securely and confidentially shredded and destroyed!

Please know that bagged shredded paper is no longer allowed within your recycling carts. If you have bags of shredded paper, you can bring that material to this event also.

• November America Recycles Day – Recycling Contest (https://westonwi.gov/828/November-America-Recycles-Day-Contest)

During the full month of November, send us a picture of your recycling to get entered into a drawing for a prize (50” Smart TV, or 1 of several $25.00 gift cards to some of our local businesses).

Simply take a picture of your filled cart, and submit (mail, drop off, or email) it to:
