The Village has received a $48,000 WDNR grant to improve access to the Eau Claire River at Yellowbanks Park. This is a 50/50 matching grant, which means this grant covers half of the project cost of $96,000. Fortunately, the Village can cover its portion through labor, equipment, and materials. Additionally, the Village secured three other grants: $2,500 from the Wausau Noon Kiwanis Club, $5,000 from the Wausau/Marathon County Parks Foundation, and $15,000 from the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin - THANK YOU! Keep an eye on our Facebook page for project updates!
